  • Newvalue: Right now I don't think this is viable ''right now'', because of [source:trunk/yt/lagos/ContourFinder.py@450#L88 the way] "tempContours" is stored. Someday, though. But I don't want to make these big changes until after we've branched, so for now, it will have to be out-of-core and we simply have to operate on subsets of the full domain.

  • Newvalue: The new contouring mechanism changes this quite a bit, as the contouring is done grid-by-grid with joins. Additionally, the stack overflow problem is fixed. I am going to make this a 'wontfix' for now.
